New Pharmaceutical Editor for JNIRS

We are delighted to welcome Brad Swarbrick as the new Pharmaceutical Editor for JNIRS—Journal of Near Infrared Spectroscopy. Brad is a PAT specialist consultant with CAMO Software and has over 10 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical, agricultural and chemical industries. Earlier, Brad worked in the Pfizer Global Process Analytical Technology (PAT) group based at the West Ryde Facility in Australia, and has developed the NIR and PAT programmes for Sigma Pharmaceuticals, Australia’s largest pharmaceuticals manufacturer.
Brad is the Chair of the Community of Practice in PAT, regional board director of the Australian ISPE (International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering) affiliate, and was a member of the ASTM E55 sub-committee on PAT.
Brad’s combination of scientific and practical experience will serve him well in his new editorial role, and we are excited by his strengthening of the JNIRS editorial team.
