For the further growth and strengthening of our NIR program we are looking for a professional responsible for the successful completion of the NIR software projects.  Meeting the deadlines, shaping the product vision in close contact with the business area NIR and all the stakeholders, bulding up product requirements and managing the product backlog are your main working fields. You are in active interaction within the core team in the software development and all the stakeholders in order to clarify the product backlog items and to decide which items to implement. Your tasks in brief:

  • Setting goals and creating the team’s vision
  • Responsible for providing the best return on investment: accountable for all economic decision making during the sprint’s release and product level
  • Define boundaries and constraints to achieve goals (deadline completion dates, cost limitations and technical requirements e.g. memory limits, speed minimums)
  • Develop events such as plans, refinement, reviews, and retrospective of the sprint and daily scrums
  • Motivate team and seeking feedback

You have an academic, scientific education and good domain knowledge in laboratory instrumentation preferably NIR Lab, feeling comfortable with Software and IT topics. As an entrepreneurial, self-reliant, assertive and organizationally skilled leader, who exemplifies customer, target, solution, and resource-oriented actions, you motivate and integrate people, thus ensuring healthy dynamics. We presume very good communication and presentation skills on a professional level in English and German. Worldwide travel activity comes to 20% of the working time.
